Our caregivers are carefully screened at hire and go through a rigorous background check process. This process includes 7 state database checks, a BCI fingerprinting background check, a 3-year driving record, and an FBI background check if the caregiver has lived out of state. Once passing their background checks, all caregivers then go through an orientation process and complete 2 hours of in-house training with one of our registered nurses. Caregivers are hired for their positive outlook; happiness and joy; ability to remain calm; and their enthusiasm to create a peaceful care environment. You may notice that we will refer to you as our “client”. That is because you are the one in charge of your care and we go the extra mile to ensure that your home care experience is the way you or your loved one wants it to be.

Kyle Taylor
Director of Operations
Kyle graduated from Ohio University, majoring in Biology/Healthcare, and oversees the onboarding of our new clients. He uses his passion for healthcare in customizing the care plans of our clients in order to fulfill their personal needs and care goals. Kyle has been with Always Neighbors since 2015 and continues to help our clients by being a great senior resource. He helps our clients find the tools and resources to help both financially and medically and is extremely knowledgeable about funding sources such as county agencies, the VA, and long-term care insurance. Kyle’s specific passion for senior care began when he first started taking care of his great-grandmother, which is also what ultimately led to Cyndi Taylor starting Always Neighbors.
Kory Taylor
Director of HR and Finance
Kory graduated from Purdue University in the College of Human and Health Services. With a degree in Financial Counseling & Planning and a thoughtful consideration of others, he found Always Neighbors to be a perfect fit. Kory is a ‘people person’ and has excelled in recruiting caregivers and assisting new employees in navigating the training and onboarding process. Kory’s work is crucial to our company’s success, and ensures that our clients have reliable, well-trained caregivers. Without our amazing staff, we would not be the company we are today.
Cyndi Taylor
Owner
Cyndi started Always Neighbors in 2013 when she began to notice her grandmother’s cognitive decline due to Alzheimer’s. Cyndi brought with her over 25 years of prior healthcare administration experience and a vision of a home care agency that would respect and treat all of their clients like family. Being a trusted resident of Hilliard since 1988 and mother to Kyle and Kory, her company was quickly accepted and supported by the community. Since 2013, we have grown out of Hilliard and now provide home care to clients all around central Ohio through Franklin County Senior Options, the VA, and privately. As Cyndi, Kyle, and Kory have grown the company, they continue to pride themselves on treating every client like their own family.
